The Earl Carl Institute operates the Opal Lee Property Preservation Project (OM:PPP) to provide legal services to low income Texans who are facing potential loss of land or homes — including family and generational homes. The project can help with clouded or tangled titles, homes that were not passed down with proper estate planning, and other inheritance issues.

Lone Star Legal Aid helps low-income residents with civil legal issues like foreclosure prevention, clouded or tangled titles, and legal issues related to disasters and home repair needs.
